The 2nd workshop continued the workshop series’ dialogue on firm dynamics, industrial growth, and policy. The workshop held at The University of Hong Kong in May 2024 and sponsored by the HKU Business School’s Institute of China Economy. Bringing together leading scholars from around the world, the workshop featured keynote lectures by Jan De Loecker and Kevin Fox, alongside sessions on productivity, markups, globalization, ownership, firm entry, and microdata.
